1) Sardine fish curry
This is an easy recipe to prepare authentic and traditional Kerala style sardine fish curry recipe.  You can take it as a side dish with Kappa(Tapioca) / hot Kerala rice / Pathiri / Porotta / Appams.  Sardine, ( popularly known as Mathi, Chaala in Kerala), is one the cheapest, popular and the tastiest fish available in South India.

2) Pachadi
Pachadi is a popular side dish in Kerala sadhya / feast. The main ingredient in pachadi is curd. Pachadi can be made with a variety of vegetables. In this recipe we use pumpkin, pineapple and banana.

3) Karimeen pollichathu
Karimeen (Pearl spot fish) Pollichathu is a typical and unique Kuttanadan (Allepey) fish preparation. It is marinated with a rich blend of hot spices and then baked in a banana leaf. If you take it once, you will always carve for it again.

4) Erachi pathiri
Erachi pathiri (Fried Rotis Stuffed With Chicken Masala) is a traditional Muslim food item which is very delicious, rich meat-filled pastry, which is a very popular Ramadan dish. It is a meal by itself. You can use Mutton, Beef or Chicken for the spicy meat filling.

5) Pavakka pulicurry
Its a typical Kerala dish which our old grandmothers served to us with boiled rice. The new generation may not have tasted this. Mothers are also hesitant to prepare it because of the bitter taste. But if you prepare it well even children will like this dish.
